Bukhali Financial Solutions (previously Bukhali Finance) was founded by Mercy Mukewa in 2019 to help address the need and demand for out-sourced Accounting, Bookkeeping and Tax services amongst small and medium companies who cannot afford to employ full-time Chief Financial Officers, Finance Managers and Accountants. Since then, Bukhali has offered very affordable financial solutions for companies caught-up in this conundrum.

Bukhali Financial Solutions leadership and management team has extensive experience in financial accounting and tax services. They have been working within the profession (outsourced or co-sourced) for over 15 years. Our deep knowledge and understanding of small and medium businesses as well other forms of entities enables us to offer our clients a high-quality service.

Growing up as a child, her father was convinced that she would become a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson or some such famous touring musician because of her then playful nature and penchant for the arts. It was to his surprise and joy and see that Mercy took up and grew to like Accounting from the age of 15. Being a business owner himself, he thought he had one in the bag to help with the Accounting for the family business in later years.
Although Mercy went of the family business payroll, she went on to work for many amazing firms including the Big Four Accounting firms where she obtained her Articles in clerkship to become a Chartered Accountant.
Her passion now is to see Bukhali Financial Solutions become more than another profit-making company but to actually make a difference to the communities and small businesses operating in South Africa. Financial literacy in a business owner’s personal life extends to the level of financial literacy within their businesses
Chenayi was born in Harare Zimbabwe. Being a middle child, she learnt how to be adaptable and independent from a young age. Chenayi’s interest and knowledge in various topics from business, current affairs to even the latest conspiracies make her engaging.
Chenayi has an accounting degree, CIMA advanced Diploma and is a registered tax practitioner with SAIT. She has worked in various business sectors from Financial services to Non-profit companies and this equips her with a broad perspective.
Chenayi’s super power is connecting with people and supporting business leaders. Her passion is helping businesses realise their potential while ensuring compliance with regulations.
